Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy applies to consulting sessions, project-based services, and ongoing support unless different written terms are agreed for a specific engagement.
Before Work Begins
If a client needs to cancel before substantive work has started, the client should provide notice as soon as possible. Any refund or credit will depend on the payment status, administrative work already completed, scheduling commitments, and any non-recoverable costs specifically incurred for the engagement.
After Work Begins
Once research, analysis, planning, review, drafting, meetings, or other substantive consulting work has begun, amounts attributable to completed work and committed work are generally non-refundable. Where appropriate, any unused portion may be reviewed based on the actual stage of the engagement.
Consultation Sessions
Session fees reserve professional time. Rescheduling requests should be made with reasonable advance notice. Missed sessions or late cancellations may not be eligible for a refund where time was reserved and could not reasonably be reassigned.
Project-Based Services
Project cancellations are evaluated against work completed, work in progress, agreed milestones, and any materials already prepared. If a project is ended early, outstanding amounts for completed work remain due.
Ongoing Business Support
Monthly support applies to the agreed billing period. Ending ongoing support does not automatically create a refund for services, access, planning, or consulting capacity already provided or reserved during the current period.
How to Request a Review
A cancellation or refund request should identify the service, client name, payment date if applicable, reason for the request, and relevant project circumstances. Requests are reviewed individually against the applicable engagement scope and work status.
